The content from Houghton Mifflin Company’s American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition is now available on the Internet’s largest reference portal. This authoritative work, the largest of the American Heritage dictionaries, contains over 200,000 boldface headwords and more than 33,000 written examples. It also includes 10,000 new words and senses and 900 of the carefully chosen pieces of color art that accompany the text of the actual dictionary.
